Yes, it is time once again to shut down the parliament unceremoniously …
Before the government rose for the summer break (why call a holiday “rising” when it is just the opposite :-) they were under constant fire over the horrid financial track record of the conservative senators of late. So, as they have done twice before since 2006, they are simply going to “shut ‘er down” … of course that means asking the Governor General to prorogue the parliament.
